Garden
A key feature of the Brunnwirt is the picturesque garden with a fabulous view of the lake and surrounding mountains. In summer, guests enjoy fine dining in the garden, the more than 300-year-old linden tree as well as the breathtaking view of the emerald green lake “Fuschlsee”, and nearby mountains, the “Schober” and the “Ellmaustein”.

Restaurant
The "Taverne zu Prunn" was first documented in the 15th century. It was presumably donated by the Archbishop of Salzburg to the Bishop of Chiemsee as early as 1215, on the occasion of the founding of this diocese.
For more than 600 years, the "Brunnwirt" has been family-owned as an inn and farmhouse. Today, Johannes Brandstätter manages the renowned restaurant with six exclusive residential units.
